These are from March of 2009. She was still in pain and missing a lot of school. Although is was better than before. We scheduled an appointment with a surgeon for a consultation on surgery. We chose a great surgeon and had to wait over 6 weeks for that appointment. By that time school was out and Shannon was starting to feel a lot better. I think the medicine just needed more time to work and the stress of school was not a problem any more. So, we did not have to schedule surgery! Surgery is one of those tricky things that often in the long run may do more harm. I just wanted to do whatever I could to make my baby to feel better.
